Sleepy Sloth started as a community token, $SLEEPY, traded on Pancake Swap. Every transaction carried a 5% burn and a 3% redistribution to holders, 40% of the initial supply was burnt at launch, and half of the dev redistribution went to a charity wallet.
In 2021 the project moved to Ethereum. $SLEEPY was paused, and holders were able to claim the new $JANGLE token on October 20th 2021. $JANGLE was designed as a utility token for the ecosystem, with a total supply of 1,120,000 and a liquidity pool backed by ETH.
Alongside the token, the team released Mr. Bojangles: a collection of 1111 AI-generated sloth NFTs with more than 175 accessories, from top hats and party hats to bitcoin eyes and a propeller cap. The genesis collection sold out, and part of the mint profit was set aside for environmental organisations working to protect the rainforest where real sloths live.
